Since 1995, Michael has provided assurance and accounting services, specializing in insurance, not-for-profit entities, technology companies, and local/state governments.
With over ten years as the Accounting Technology Manager at THF, Michael combines accounting and IT knowledge to understand organizational complexities. He excels in identifying risks, designing and testing information system controls for financial audits, and auditing various aspects of information technology.
Michael’s responsibilities include planning and supervising engagements covering auditing, IT security, data analytics, risk management, SAS70/SOC reporting, and financial audit support. He bridges the gap between business and technology, utilizing computer-assisted audit techniques (CAAT/IDEA) and Access to database management in accounting and audit.
Additionally, Michael has five years of experience with a national corporation, performing monthly financial statement analysis and state income tax return preparation.
