Since 1977, Bill has dedicated his career to public accounting, specializing in serving a range of clients with a primary focus on insurance companies and related enterprises. His role involves coordinating services and ensuring the successful achievement of engagement objectives within designated timeframes.
Bill possesses extensive expertise in working with insurance clients, including conducting audits of statutory financial statements and performing NAIC Financial Examinations and SSAE 16 examinations. He provides valuable assistance in designing and implementing accounting systems, creating multi-year business plans, resolving financial regulatory issues, facilitating acquisitions, conducting internal control reviews, structuring reinsurance programs, managing reinsurance accounting, conducting operational studies, designing cost allocation systems, assisting in contract structuring, and addressing financial reporting concerns.
Bill has pursued continuing education through programs offered by the SEC Institute and the AICPA, specifically focusing on SEC and PCAOB accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. Furthermore, he actively contributed to the rewrite of the accounting and auditing guide for property and liability insurance companies as a member of the AICPA’s Task Force.
