The Outdoor Opportunities are Endless.

The Earle May Boat Basin offers activities such as boat races, a brand-new bicycle park, and wonderful walking trails through the beautiful woods of South Georgia. With exceptional Mega Ramps, a walking trail, a petting zoo, picnic pavilions, a beach with a swimming area, a campground, and a playground, there is something for everyone. The City’s Amphitheater is also located in the park. Here, many community events happen throughout the year, including River Town Days, July 4, and numerous bass fishing tournaments.

The City of Bainbridge leisure services offer all ages the opportunity to participate in baseball, softball, soccer, and many other sports. Bainbridge has several parks located throughout the city, including a large park located along the Flint River. Many of these parks have buildings that can be rented for private and civic use alike.

While living in Bainbridge, the city is also home to the Bainbridge Country Club, which boasts an 18-hole course, 4 clay tennis courts, a ballroom, a grill, and a newly renovated swimming pool! Social memberships are available for those interested. This 18-hole course, first opened in 1921, gives you the opportunity to play a mature, challenging, and fun round of golf that can be described simply as satisfying.

Additionally, Bainbridge has recently enacted an open-container law in the area, which has caused more people to utilize the Gazebo, common area, and picnic tables in the town square. The downtown area is also home to music festivals, church gatherings, military services, and art shows throughout the year.
