Since 1977, Bill has spent his career in public accounting serving a variety of clients with a significant concentration on insurance companies and other insurance-related enterprises. His responsibilities include coordinating services provided and ensuring engagement objectives are accomplished within established timeframes.
He has specific experience with insurance clients that includes audits of statutory financial statements, NAIC Financial Examinations, SSAE 16 examinations, assistance in designing and implementing accounting systems, preparing multi-year business plans, resolving financial regulatory issues, acquisitions, internal control reviews, structuring reinsurance programs, reinsurance accounting, operational reviews, design of cost allocation systems, assistance with structuring contracts, and resolution of financial reporting issues.
Bill has completed continuing education programs offered by the SEC Institute and the AICPA relating to SEC and PCAOB accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. In addition, Bill served as a member of the AICPA’s Task Force for the rewrite of the accounting and auditing guide for property and liability insurance companies.
