John W. Stafford, CPA, CGMA, joined THF in July 2025 as a Senior Manager in the Tax Services Department, bringing over 25 years of accounting experience. With 17+ years in public accounting and executive financial leadership in the private sector, John delivers experienced tax strategy, business advisory, and consulting services. His background includes assurance and tax work across not-for-profit, governmental, manufacturing, construction, and real estate industries. A Florida CPA and Chartered Global Management Accountant, John is active in the AICPA, FICPA, and community organizations including Second Harvest of the Big Bend and Leadership Tallahassee. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of West Florida and completed graduate-level coursework at Florida State University.
